Terms

Terms & Conditions

These terms describe how Family Matrix may be used. They are maintained by SG PR Infotech LLP and apply to everyone who creates an account or opens an invite link.

Last updated: 14 September 2026 (version 2026-09-14)

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, signing in with an emailed code, purchasing credits, or using any part of Family Matrix, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Who operates the service

Family Matrix is operated by SG PR Infotech LLP. For legal, billing and support questions, contact us at sgprinfotech@gmail.com.

3. Your account

  • You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country to hold an account.
  • Keep your email inbox and sign-in codes secure — anyone with access to them can sign in as you.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
  • One person, one account. Do not impersonate another family member.

4. Relationships and consent

Relationships are proposals until the other person confirms them. You may dispute or dissolve a relationship, but records are never hard-deleted: their status changes and the transition is logged. Do not use confirmations, disputes or dissolutions to harass another member.

5. Managed profiles and invites

You may create a managed profile for a relative who has not joined yet, and send them an invite link. Only add information you have a reasonable basis to share, and only send invites to people who would expect to hear from you. Invite links are secret — treat them like a password. When the person joins, they may claim the profile and control it thereafter.

6. Credits, payments and subscriptions

Family Matrix uses a prepaid credit model. One credit is consumed when you add one new person to the family tree. Connecting existing profiles (for example, marking a marriage between two existing members) does not consume a credit.

  • Credits are sold in packs and priced in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Payment is processed through Razorpay, our third-party payment processor.
  • Credits are added to a shared family wallet and are non-transferable between accounts or trees.
  • Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or where a payment was processed in error that we can verify.
  • If your wallet balance is zero, you will not be able to add a new person until you top up.
  • Pricing and pack sizes may change; any credits already purchased remain valid at the value they were bought for.

Current packs (subject to change): Starter — 10 credits, Family — 50 credits, Clan — 150 credits, Legacy — 500 credits.

7. Billing and refunds

  • All charges are processed in INR. You are responsible for any taxes, currency-conversion fees or bank charges imposed by your payment method.
  • If a payment fails, is disputed, or is reversed, we may suspend credit top-ups or restrict the ability to add new nodes until the issue is resolved.
  • Refunds, when granted, are issued to the original payment method or as wallet credit at our discretion.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact us with the order or payment reference and we will investigate.

8. Acceptable use

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing or sharing intimate images without consent.
  • No uploading content you do not have the rights to share.
  • No scraping, automated bulk access, probing security controls or circumventing circle visibility rules.
  • No spam, fraudulent invites, or use of the service for commercial solicitation.
  • No adding people to the tree without a reasonable basis, and no creating fake profiles to inflate tree size or rankings.
  • No reverse engineering, interfering with the payment system, or attempting to obtain credits without paying.

Every profile and chat has a safety menu for blocking and reporting. We may review reports and restrict, suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the profile details, posts, comments, stories, messages and media you upload. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process and display that content to the people your circle settings allow, so the service can work. You are responsible for the content you publish.

10. Disputes, blocking, reporting and moderation

Either person in a confirmed relationship may dispute it. The link stays visible and is marked as disputed, both people are told who raised it and why, and a reminder is sent to both sides if it is unresolved after 14 days. Every change of status is written to an audit record that no one — including our staff — can edit or delete.

  • Blocking immediately stops messages, comments and reactions between the two accounts.
  • Reports go to a staff moderation queue with the reason, your note and the reported message or post.
  • Staff may mark a report reviewing, resolved or dismissed, and may warn, restrict, suspend or remove accounts.
  • Deliberately false or repeated malicious reports, or using disputes to harass someone, are themselves a breach of these terms.

11. Your data: export, deletion and “dissolved not deleted”

You can download a copy of your profile, confirmed relationships, messages and posts, and you can close your account, from Profile → Your data. Closing your account clears your personal details, photos, messages, posts and stories and dissolves your live relationships.

Relationship links and audit entries are marked dissolved rather than erased. A dissolved link grants no further visibility or access, but the record of who was linked, the relationship type and the status history is retained because it belongs equally to the other person and forms their family history. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

12. Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and maintenance or outages may interrupt access. We do not guarantee that data added by other members about your family is accurate — the graph reflects what members confirm, not verified records.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other members at risk. Relationship history and audit records belonging to other members are retained where needed to keep their trees intact.

14. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SG PR Infotech LLP and Family Matrix are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, business interruption, or disputes between family members arising from content shared on the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the twelve months preceding the event, or INR 1,000 if no payment was made.

15. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Family Matrix shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

16. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes and will revise the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions, billing disputes or legal notices can be sent to sgprinfotech@gmail.com.
